Fintokei launched in 2023 aimed squarely at Japanese traders, backed by an established Czech trading group, and has since spread to more than a hundred countries. For a Japanese-speaking trader it is the most comfortable firm on this list: the site, the rules and the support are all native, not translated as an afterthought.
Important: Fintokei accounts use simulated capital. Rewards are calculated from your simulated results, and your real financial exposure is the program fee.
How the evaluation works
ProTrader is the flagship: 8% in Phase 1, 6% in Phase 2, a 5% daily loss limit, a 10% maximum loss and 3 trading days per phase. SwiftTrader is the single-phase route — 10% in one go, but with a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% maximum loss measured from your starting balance, and a 5-day minimum. Because that 6% is fixed to the initial size, every dollar of profit builds a cushion that cannot be taken away.
There is also StartTrader, a three-phase programme with the gentlest targets anywhere on this page — 2%, then 3%, then 6% — against the same 5% daily and 10% total loss limits. It is the natural first purchase for someone who has never passed an evaluation.
Costs and refunds
Programs run from $44 for a $5,000 account up to roughly $2,399 at the top of the range. ProTrader returns the fee in full as a “Contract Fee” alongside your first payout, and StartTrader works the same way after its three phases.
Rewards and scaling
You can request a payout every 14 days, counted from your last payout or your first trade. Approval takes seconds and the transfer lands within 3–5 hours — the fastest of any firm we rank. The split depends on the program: ProTrader opens at 80%, SwiftTrader at 90%, and the Dynamic Performance reward can lift you to 100%. The average payout is around €3,800.
Platforms and trading rules
MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView. News trading carries no limits — you may open or close positions before, during or after a release — and positions may be held over the weekend for as long as you want. That combination is the clearest reason to pick Fintokei over FTMO, whose standard accounts restrict both.
EAs are allowed only when you are the author or full owner of the strategy and understand how it works. Buying a commercial robot, copying a signal package or running a public black-box system is prohibited.
Is Fintokei right for you?
The obvious choice if you trade the news, hold over weekends, or simply want to deal with a firm in Japanese. The trade-off is track record: 2023 is recent, and the review count is small next to FTMO’s. Start on a small account and judge it by your own first payout.
